EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
- Profound ABAP development experience SAP UI technology experience such as WebDynpro for ABAP
- Deep understanding of SAP technology and applications in the area of Transportation Management or experience in the area of BOPF
- Strong functional expertise in SAPs TM applications and business processes
- Profound experience in object oriented software engineering
- Self-management and objective focused working mode
- Intensive team orientation, networking, customer focus
- Status quo questioning, hands-on, and get it done attitude
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a constructive and open style of communication in both German and English.
- Self-motivated, curious, open-minded, resourceful, reliable and flexible
- Comprehensive software development skills
- Experience in working with cross location and multi-cultural teams
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to pick up knowledge in new areas very fast
- Fluent German and English in speaking and writing is mandatory
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 4-6 years in development of SAP solutions or comprehensive consulting background in TM and consulting development experience
- Experience in solving complex conceptual and technical challenges with customers
- Since Transportation Management is a fast growing business area of Custom Development, knowledge and architectural expertise in TM is required.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
As a Senior Developer or Development Architect, you will work on the entire lifecycle of development projects together with customers, SAP colleagues, and development partners. This lifecycle includes the analysis and specification of the business requirements as well as the design, implementation, and maintenance of customer-specific solutions.You will also globally coach and support the evaluation team during sales cycles and the developers during the actual development of the solution.
- With your application knowledge you will ensure understanding of customer requirements in order to build efficient Custom Specific Solutions.
- You will identify new potential to extend our Custom Development business.
- Based on requirements from different customers you will identify common approaches in order to extend our portfolio for reusable solutions.
- As a team player you are competent to transfer requested knowledge to colleagues from different locations thus ensuring success of a global virtual team.
