At SAP you get your chance to put your ideas into action with maximum impact.The Ariba Cloud (Senior) Consultant will be part of the Global Services team in the LOB Procurement and will be focused on the delivery of Ariba cloud application to customers mainly based in Germany and MEE region. S/He will be part of the Global Services LOB Procurement team that consist of more than 60 people in EMEA /MEE and that is growing quickly and consistently within SAP. The (Senior) Consultant may be required to travel up to 80% of his time usually in Germany but may require international travel out of Europe. Within our team, we practice a trust-based working model. If you need to work flexibly from another location or at another time you can do so given your manager's agreement.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The (Senior) Consultant is responsible for delivering sound, quality tasks and deliverables on time and within budget according to the scope of the Statement of Work (SOW) and meet quality standards to achieve high customer satisfaction. Additionally s/he assists customers through the lifecycle of an Ariba Cloud implementation:
- Supports the design process with customers leveraging Ariba Best Practices as appropriate.
- Assists customers in the development of processes and procedures which leverage Ariba solution functionality being deployed.
- Contributes to functional and technical design documents.
- Support the customer during the system testing and User Acceptance testing phases.
- The (Senior) Consultant is focused on the rapid transformation of client organizations into world-class managers of spend, through innovative, high-quality, global Procurement solutions that create sustainable bottom-line results.
- Quickly learns new Ariba solutions in order to present them credibly and confidently to clients. Any previous experience on Ariba Sourcing, Ariba SIPM or Ariba Contract module would be a preference.
- Proactively collaborates with teammates to anticipate and respond to issues that could impact solution delivery (e.g., change in scope, arising issues).
WORK EXPERIENCE
A minimum of four to five years consulting experience in systems implementation, process re-engineering or a related discipline with a national or regional consulting firm or equivalent is required. All Germany SAP-subsidiaries are as location possible.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills:
- Master's degree in business or computer sciences or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and organizational talent
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work with multi-functional and international teams
- Continuous learning: Eager to continuously increase Knowledge and skills through formal training programs and On-the-job learning that never stops
- Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory Preferred skills:
- Broad knowledge of procurement operations and/or strategies is a plus
- Experience with Ariba solutions is a plus
- Work experience using project management methods or pursuing PMI an advantage
