As part of the CDS Cloud Delivery Execution unit, The IT Application Operations department is responsible for application as well as platform operations for SAP products, services and technology consumed by our own SAP business. We are hiring a Product Architect, to join the Core Businesses Application Operations team, who will lead technical application operations of our SAP Store on hybris.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As Product Architect you are responsible to:
- Drive IT Product/Service operational excellence assisted by a multi sourced operations teams that provide operational support for our productive solutions through incident management, major incident de-escalation, problem management, service request delivery, event management, etc.
- Drive continuous improvement of IT Product/Service in terms of operational efficiency, reducing TCO, support quality and customer satisfaction.
- Lead architectural discussions in innovation projects at SAP, engaging all relevant stakeholders, with a focus on architecturally sound, high quality and operable solutions.
- Engage solution and service providers to improve application as well as service quality.
- Ensure IT Product/Service is compliant with technical, quality and process standards.
- Develop skill and competency on latest solutions and technologies relevant to the IT Product/Service.
WORK EXPERIENCE
A successful candidate has 5+ years of professional experience with 3+ years leading innovation or adoption of hybris or JAVA/J2EE solutions.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills:
- Solid understanding as well as experience in hybris as a platform
- Solid understanding of Java Enterprise (BigData, Scalable, Tomcat), Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Integration, Batch) and Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- Solid understanding as well as experience in software architecture methodology
- Solid understanding of agile, test driven development and continuous delivery
- Good understanding in HANA technology (application platform)
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Information Technology or Engineering
- Customer orientation with a strong focus on quality
- Strong analytical and logical skills
- Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- Very good English language skills
- Ability to work in an international team Preferred skills
- Certification in process (e.g. ITIL), architectural standards (e.g. TOGAF) as well as technical skills (hybris and Spring) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in German is an advantage.Locations: Walldorf, Singapore and Berlin
