At SAP you get your chance to put your ideas into action with maximum impact.ICN Central Research Services runs a project management office (PMO) and is overseeing and supporting all publicly funded projects in SAP in Europe. For our team we are looking for a graduate with some experience in project management to actively support our publicly funded projects jointly with the technical project manager in all administrative and project management matters. The position will be limited for 1 year.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You will assist and support the technical project manager in typical collaborative research setups in all project management related matters. This may include, but is not limited to:
- the management of an entire consortium of project partners
- the preparation of regular project meeting
- budget and resource planning
- administrative support of projects, with the assistance of the PMO back-office
- project risk management and project health checks
WORK EXPERIENCE
As the successful candidate, you should have some practical experience in managing collaborative projects. If you have experience in public funded projects, this will certainly be beneficial to your application. Your experience will have prepared you to address and solve complex project (conflict) situations. You will also have the burning desire to share your gained experience with colleagues and project personnel.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required skills (must have) For a project manager of a multi-national collaborative research project we expect:
- strong language proficiency levels (spoken and written) in both, German and English
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and in a multi-tasking environment, taking quick decisions
- be able to operate in an international and a multi-national environment
- electronic data processing skills (e.g. MS Office or similar) Preferred skills (good to have) Candidates with some background or practical experience regarding PMBOK, Prince2, Scrum or having experience with publicly funded projects will receive preferred consideration.
