Since SAP Custom Development is plan-ning to grow its business significantly, we are looking for talented Project Manager to further strengthen our execution teams. Moreover, we expect an increasing demand of HANA projects.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- A proven track record of successfully leading large development projects that generally exceed 500 person days
- High competency in evaluations and contract negotiations
- Experience in the management of development-related projects, particularly projects where a significant portion of the team is located in remote locations like India and China
- Managing custom specific development projects across the entire project life cycle (specification, design, execution, solution delivery, acceptance, handover and maintenance)
- Experience in internal and external expectation-, risk- and change management
- Have a proven track record also in business orientation, e.g. commercial change requests
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experi-ence, with a minimum of 5 years in SAP
- Experience to work under pressure in global project teams
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- University degree or equivalent
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills to deliver solutions according to contracts
- Ability to build customer and in-house rela-tionships to explain complex topics in a con-vincing and clear manner also to senior ex-ecutives
- Proven project management skills such as creating time lines, deducting staffing and identifying appropriate skill sets
- Ability to build and lead virtual developments teams (China, India)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluent German and English in speaking and writing is mandatory
